I’m in town for the holiday and my jeep was blocked in so I was just going to take my moms car on Monday night. She asked me to put the presents she bought for her co-workers in her car that night so she wouldn’t have to in the morning. I laughed and said are you kidding me and warned her about thieves and told her I’d do it for her in the morning. She then looked at me like I was crazy for thinking people would actually steal presents.
It’s amazing how many people are still naive to the situation at hand about how pathetic some members of society can be.

Then she should have put them all the way in the back of the car in the trunk type area. She probably left them on the passengers or somewhere in plain sight. People breaking into cars isn’t this new phenomena or anything. There are countless threads about people getting windows smashed all year long for various items that were sitting in the car.
I try to tell my gf that shit needs to be out of plain sight all the time, she still doesn’t seem to get it. There are plenty of people for whom going to jail is not the worst thing that could happen to them, so they don’t really give a shit.
