My record: 1 ticket and 7 consecutive warnings with no tickets. hahaha
On saturday, 30th of december. I finally got busted, there goes my consecutive streak…
I was late to go to the airport to pick up my mom, and I was still about 3-4 hours away after snow and an hour of stopped traffic (due to accident or something) on the 401 (i was coming from montreal). So I decided to speed up, after a couple of hours going 200+km/h, I slowed down cuz i see a blue impala which i suspected was a cop car. Slowly passed it at 130… Look inside… some old man
So I speed up again to like 190, the next thing i see was a car speeding up like crazy on my mirror and flashing lights. I’m thinking WTF OH SHIT WHER THAT COME FROM. IT was a blue impala… wtf! not the same one i passed though haha
Cop: Where you in a rush to?
Me: The airport sir…
Cop: Well now you’re going to court. Got license on you?
Me: hands license
Cop: looks at license G2 eh? You just lost.

Yeah got slapped with a 170km/h on 100km/h zone. Court summon… Looking at license suspension for at least 6 months + fines + 6 demerit points.
Got a lawyer on it, he says I have no chance of getting away scot-free (keep in mind this is actually a very good and expensive lawyer). Lawyer tells me the best he can probably do is drop it to 4 demerit points and still let me have my license and drop the fines too. He’s expecting $600 for the fines :F MY WALLET!!! ESPECIALLY FOR MY INSURANCE!! AHHH

ouch, good luck with that ticket. I’ve got a court date coming up in July of next year for speeding, but that will be an easy win whether or not the cop shows up.
I thought about changing dates repetitively so the cop wont show up. But according to the lawyer. he’s fought a ticket for someone in that town before Napanese or something, apparently that town only have like 5 cops since it’s a tiny ass town (i’m surprised they even have courts). Chances are, no matter how much I reschedule, the cop may still show up…
Yeah, right now the odds are allowing me to keep the license. But when insurance goes skyrocketing… it’s probably bye bye 350z and hello shitbox… I think i’m gonna cry… all that power and handling will be gone… cries
sucks man i hope the best of luck. my friend got booked doing 220km he got away with a +15 over no point but paid a fine i think. it wasnt even his car it was his friend car.

I’d love to hear you please explain how you’ve been suspended 6 times for “doing nothing wrong.” I know Toronto cops can be ruthless and brutal when it comes to stupid tickets (exhausts, tints, lowered, etc.) but none of those things are moving violations and lead to demerits.
Xero, I’ve done some speeding in my time, too… but the reality is I also knew what I was in for if I ever got nailed. You’re even lucky to be able to get a lawyer who can even get you to keep your license after that ticket.

well for driving before with a G1 but i had a US licence full class…(pulled over a few times) they asked me why i hadent gotten a full G licence instead of driving with my G1 i said what for… why am i gonna pay 100 dls to drive with a licence i already have… and i wom most in court but points still there for some reason… US licence is good for 6 months. ITS ALL BOUT THE MONEY!!! they retarded… no insurance ( cop was a prick and i had it but did not accept ittold me he was gonna slap me with every one he could. ****er) shit like that one cop said i dident notice a street light!! wtf shit wasent even on!!! retarded stuff man…and the light was for a food terminal. how are there 2 diff street lights one after another like 20 feet…
i figure so long as your car isn’t riced the shit out, police in toronto don’t bother you unnecessarily. mind you, their definition of “rice” is anything that’s not stock looking. so if you’re cruising around with insanely bright lights, super dark tints, slammed suspension, loud exhaust, etc. than you won’t get bothered, EVEN if you drive a nice car.
Left turn lane getting out of my campus, the line was too long so i decide to pull into the right lane which leads straight to a residential road. On the opposite lane of this is construction and there was a cop there. So whatever, i go straight, make a U-Turn, then about to turn right when the cop runs to the front of my car and blocks me. I’m like WTF
Cop asks me what’s the rush, i’m like… i’m not rushing…
He’s like, what’s with the Illegal turn there and loud exhaust and blah blah blah. He takes my license and radios another unit and gives them my info and after like 20 mins, he comes back and says that my tickets will be in the mail. I’m like… ticketS? How many are u giving me? he’s like “I dont know, up to them.” I go so ****ing pissed, but I knew i couldn’t do anything stupid to get more tickets. so i kept my mouth shut and left.
I could obviously tell he has bias against me. Teenage driver, expensive sports car, spoiled, blah blah blah.
He mentioned that each tickets are $110 so far. wtf… FOR WHAT I DONT EVEN KNOW
then he has the balls to say “looks like you’re gonna need an expensive driving school” i’m like “why would that be?” and he says “well, making a U-turn like that is illegal and blah blah” Now… i DID go to a driving school and never did they ever teach me anything like that, i asked a couple of my friends about it too since they’re fresh out of the driving school and they can’t recall anything like that either. so wtf. i bet he was just assuming that i’m gonna lose my license since he probably already heard about my 70 over. wow… seriously, cops needs to learn to **** off and start making better use of my ****ing tax money
