well, the hicas light is on. i put it into diagnostic mode and watched the flashes…and they were just that, i couldnt make out any way to read them, mostly because the instructions on 240sx.org didnt seem to good for understanding the readout…any help guys???
I cant help with reading HICAS codes… but have you checked all ur lines for leaks / ur resevoir to make sure you’re full on fluid.
Remove the rear pump blades in the HICAS Pump, Get a Hicas Eliminator Bar, and Pull the HICAS Light and Fuse…
EDIT: If you want to lose about 100lbs remove all those bogus lines and actuator pump…
Uh… 100lbs? I think you are a bit off… a fellow GTR owner removed his HICAS completely… and weighed EVERYTHING… even the fluid, and he only saved 21Kg… (49lbs).
I doubt a 240’s hicas is 51lbs heavier.
