I remember trying to learn stick on my old ranger 4x4 4 speed. Ouch. Takes awhile to get the hills down, especially really, really, steep troy hills.
I haven’t driven a stick in so long :sad

Starting on hills with a LTW Flywheels is a pain in the dick, however I can definitely start off on a fairly steep hill/driveway without rolling back…

And if I do it can’t be more than a 1/2" at most…just comes with practice.

Take this little tid bit in for a minute…

1/4 ounce weight spinning at 100rpm on a 4" circle weighs about 2lbs. Take that same 1/4 ounce piece, on a 4" spinning center, and spig it to 8000 rpm…it now has a “weight” of ~120lbs. Now imagine what a ~1/2 lb chunk of pressure plate “weighs” when it breaks free from a clutch spinning at 9K+ rpm on a ~12-14" circle ;D Kaboom!
