looking quite ferrar/porsche ish in that very last pic…espcially with the yellow center
I guess the hood doesnt look bad, couldnt really tell what kind of hood it was from the pics I have seen of your ride.
Good looks man! Good luck with your project and keep us posted!!
bahahahaha.
tool
go burn up another sti motor because you dont know how to drive and stay the fuck out of my threads. Unlike some on here I dont think you are cool nor could I give a fuck about any of your douche bag opinions.
don’t worry. i am cool whether you think it or not.
and you are ugly.
yes, i can see where the ear shattering growl of a ford v6, could seal the deal, when buying a car. My wifes taurus did the same thing for me.
i don’t understand why you would want cobra everything…and not have a cobra. And instead of investing thousands into this project you should have just bought a cobra, and had a really sharp car
…just a few inches thinner.
Nice wheels, but please ditch the z3 fenders. They make baby jesus cry.
It’s not a V6. As far as the cobra parts go, well first off they practically give away the IRS setup cuz all anyone wants to do is drag race. Prsonally I like my cars to do everything well. The hood, well shit, it’s a cool hood. The buy in is a lot cheaper, and the work isn’t difficult so why pay all the extra for a cobra. Just so you can say you’ve got one? Who gives a fuck. At the end of the day it’s his car, and as long as everything goes as planned it should be pretty damn nice.
hmm… i dunno. i like how the car looks.
- it’s funny. i don’t think i’ve heard a 4.6 yet that i really like the sound of, so i can understand what you mean.
running cars > broken cars
Amen.
i like it!!!
God, you just sound like a bigger and bigger fucking idiot everytime you post.
There are few 5.0’s that i have heard that sound just right. But the ones that do sound awesome. It takes just the right kind of exhaust, cams, and timing… working on that as well.
Actually they sell for $800-$1200 so its not exactly a giveaway. I also have to put at least that much more into it to get it right.
Beck, I’ll humor you somewhat to help you understand.
03 Cobra is a good car, hands down. It’s also $40 Grand.
-First off I was not in a position to spend that much. I could have but it would not have been stupid because I would be stuck with a stock car and no $$ left for customizing.
-Second I would not spend $40 grand on a Mustang that still needs $15+ grand of work to get it where I want it. For 40G’s I would have bought a nicer car.
-Third, anyone with money can buy the car and they all are pretty much the same. I want something that stands out. I customize the shit out of my cars because I want them a certain way. I dont do it to impress anyone but myself.
-Fourth and Most Important: If I had bought a 99-02 Cobra, These are the parts I would have to get rid of: (not rebuild but GET RID OF) Engine, Transmission, Driveshaft, complete IRS rear end (weak version), entire front and rear suspensions, brakes, front/rear bumpers, seats, shifter, abs, ect.
Basically I would buy a Cobra and gut the entire thing?? Well I can get a GT THATS EXACTLLY THE SAME CAR for $5 Grand less and do the same thing… guess which one I chose. $5000 is still $5000 that went into custom work and parts.
MOST people that talk about Cobras have no fucking clue what differentiates the 99-02 Cobras from the GT’s and from the 03-04 Cobras.
Most people that talk have no idea what the fuck a Cobra is. They just talk… Its just ignorant banter so I ignore it.
I’m not going to pay $5000 for exactly the same starting point just so people that dont know what the fuck they are talking about can say ooooh Cobra.
^ then why does your car say cobra on it?
cobra or not. i don’t like mustangs and i don’t like Z3 fenders on anything including Z3’s. but i like it when people do their own thing. and i really love deep dish wheels. awesome job man.
 I want to see them mounted as well.
Because the Factory 03/04 Bumbers come like that. The 03+ bodywork looks the best and that is all thats wort putting on a Mustang. If you can find me a urathane cover that looks like a 03 without the COBRA embossed in the back they I will buy it.
Does that explain it?
Thanks bro
then why do u have a cobra rear bumper, edit - why not just fill it in then, u are doin a lot bigger job to the car, cutting it in half, why not just fill in COBRA
5.0s all sound the same, which is nice, its the bigger 5.0s that sounds sweet
i dont know what cobra u are talking about but i havent seen one come off ford lot for 40 gs, more like ~35. which to me 5 grand is a huge difference
do u have a pic of the tires u are using
god, you still dont get it. anyways.
This was my philosophy for the longest time. but now, yeah. I suckered out, but i totally agree a modded car is 100 times sweeter than a stock equivalent that equals it performance-wise.
but i am just too jaded for the project car scene… for now… i disagree with your take on looks tho, and “having a cool car”, yeah, you like performance, but you also like to break necks. tdown for :that:, but  for DIY. I just bought a really cool car, but only because I want to drive it…
