Hey guys, sold that 92 Talon a week ago. I needed a garage to work on it and up here in Burlington garages are just about impossible to find for rent. It got the fire burning again in me for AWD and turbo.
Other then the sport grille and body molding it’s 100% stock for the moment. I’m looking at some Rally Armor mud flaps and some Continental ExtremeContact DWS’s to get through the winter. It’s got some Dunlop SP Sport’s on now which are summer only.
Needs a short shifter and some bushings for sure. A bit too much body roll as well…I’ll be taking care of that stuff soon.
Not that I think this WRX is all that great to look at…but I just couldn’t get past the styling of the EVO. I wanted to like it because the performance aspect of the EVO is just insane…I was just THAT turned off by the looks.
I took a few STI’s out as well but couldn’t’ justify the price increase. I’m not gonna take advantage of all the upgraded shit. Plus this year the WRX in terms of 0-60 and quarter mile is extremely close to the numbers of the STI (some comparisons it’s even beaten the STI). I’ve seen some mag’s rate the 0-60 at 4.7 which is just fucking insane for a $24k car.
Yea I agree. Super smooth! The 09’s got some upgrades suspension wise (along with a 41hp increase) so it’s a bit more harsh then the 08’. But for the increase in performance I don’t mind!
I hear ya. I’ve owned a few Fbody’s and DSM’s and every time I sold the DSM’s I instantly felt regret. Something about AWD and boost. Great combo.
Thanks! The premium’s are slick. Excellent daily driver. Better off without the turbo…it’s so hard NOT to mod! “Should I void the warranty or shouldn’t I”???..hah
yeah thats all i wanted was a nice reliable daily driver that can handle the northeast. if you do any modding let me know of any stock parts if your going to sell them!
