solution -woo hoo!

when i installed my header my SES light was triggered… and after abot 2-3000 km i came to terms with it. i was going to fix it eventually but never had time etc…

so now the really cold weather and all-
i drive home and the SES light turns off… a part of me is afraid to reset the code in case it comes back.
but don’t look a gift horse in the mouth! its off and i am happy

whatever having the ses light is a gift i say, it makes u way cooler im my opinion…
haha yah right i want mine off! whatever though

nissan is healing itself lol

nice work… for doing nothing! You get the Slacker Award for 2006!

slacker award! i dreamed of getting this prize but just didn’t put forth the effort… or lack

It will come back on, mine did the same thing before I had the Electronic O2 Sim installed, I would drive sometimes it would stay on for weeks/months then turn off for a few days, sit at a red light or turn it on and bam shes back like a bad itch.

If this happens, and you’re still too lazy to do anything about it, I suggest the Homer Simpson approach.

Stick an adequate size piece of electrical tape over the light and voila.

:finga:

holy fuck! so weird u posted this cause 2 days ago my SES turned off! its so so weird having my dash not glowing a little bit yellow! wonder how long it will last for though…

a part of me assumes it is related to the cold weather, (just a hypothesis; the longer warm-up time ensures the 2nd cat is the correct temperature)

but i still hope it stays off when it does get warmer

Am I the only one that finds it a little scary when car problems myseriously fix themselves?

naw thats how nissans work! :partyman:

as i had thought, when the temp came back above -15 the SES light is back on

oh well…

as is mine, i had a nice 350km stint anyways… after having it off i realize who really cares i am so used to it now
