Hey People, I’ve got a few questions applicable to my CA18, some hoses weren’t attached in a few places so I’m looking for some answers. Scott if you’re browsing around maybe put some input if you can too lol. (Keep in mind I looked through the S13 FSM but it’s 894 pages on Adobe soo…pretty big. yea)
#1 On the valve cover, near the firewall, driver side of engine there is a raised part where a hose connects to, what connects to this?
#2 By the oil filter there are essentially two plugs, I believe one of them is the supply to the turbo; but the other one is a threaded hole…i’m not sure if it connects to something or if it is plugged.
That message was supposed to go in here… anyhow again, i’ll see what i can do about gettin a pic and yes the connection from the valve cover to the maf…that helps me out quite a bit thanks!
The picture i’m referring to is #0007 as you can see the threaded hole (female) on the left and a golden thread (male) to the right…what does each one do?
Any problems with the picture please let me know and I can e-mail a copy
Picture 0006 is the exhaust manifold and turbo (not attached to the block) sitting on my upper strut mount… In the centre of the pic is yet another threaded hole, and the curved tubing is what I’m assuming to be the oil supply line (correct me if i’m wrong)
I noticed on another post about the SR vacuum lines… is there any simple diagramming anyone knows about to help me with mine (CA)? or would anyone with a CA mind me coming to look in the engine bay…taking a few pictures and a few notes down?
