Someone tell me about AXA Financial

We are thinking about setting up a Defined Benefit Plan at my work.

Its in addition to a 401k where the employer can contribute to a retirement account as a benefit to each employee.

I have heard some bad things about AXA in the past but I feel like that’s from people that were employees there.

where do you work? how many employees? avg salary? avg age? etc etc.

Wow, its good to see some companies still willing to do defined benefit instead of stupid defined contribution.

I work in a very small office 3 full time employees and one part time employee. Ages 26 to 64. I do not feel comfortable posting the average salary

3 employees but somehow everyday a different girl answers the phone.

They offered me a job… I did not accept. I really did not like the company, or at least the people that were doing the hiring. They were all a bit shady.

Other than that I am no help as far as how their benefits are. If this is a small business, you may want to be in touch with the SBA or the local Chamber of Commerce. Usuall they can help point you in the right direction.

AXA is the largest insurance company in the world since AIG went down.

French based… very european business and procurement tactics which can be good or bad depending on your perspective.
