Sorry I've been away for so long- tweety

Well guys and gals the mighty 572 cubic hemi with the twin 88’s arrived on my doorstep a week or so ago and I finally got this big old monster down to the local car hangout on RT9 in Wappingers Falls NY.
Dunkin Donuts has never seen the like…
I just sent Brent some pictures and hopefully I can find someone to host a bit of video?
But in the meantime this is from Atco, no tuning, almost no boost and leaving like a mininvan http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8vdoze4CAx8
More updates to follow.

Welcome back Andy.

How’s the other projects coming along?

Hello guys and gals sorry I’ve been away so long, I’m just getting my new biz underway and it’s be using up all of my time. The old black thing was made the same year as me and I have to say it’s in rather better shape!
It’s off to the inspection place this morning , before it’s temp’ sticker runs out, next job is to get the street radials on there, the slicks are a pain in the ass and a serious dual plate clutch from McCleod’s the silly iron single plate jobbie won’t even hold a 1000pounds of torque at the rear tires- pathetic- LOL
As for the other cars, the yellow cuda is off to my mate’s chassis shop to be finished - I’m out of time and the Skyline’s still at Don’s place, should be done soon.
UPS Broke the new windshield again - agggghhhhhhh
And I may change the Skycuda project to the Skyminivan project- more to follow.

Off to the inspection dude as soon as the brake light switch is rivetted to the floor.
I put the Simpson kid seat on the passenger side , I think I’ll take my 4 1/2 year old with me, he’ll like that…

only in America could this happen!
$10 for an inspection sticker and my word what an ‘interesting’ drive home it was without my son in the car, 1000pounds of torque at the tires certainly gets your attention!
Thanks Brent for posting those, I have some video from inside the car that’s awesome I really should try and post this also?

Hooooooooooly Poo.

what What WHAT

hottttt

i like it … it looks slow :gotme:

It’s funny that I started out in muscle cars, got drawn to ‘the dark side’ with the skyline and then got to drive that thing yesterday and now it all came back to me- lots of noise and huge amounts of torque, without waiting around for weenie little motors to come up on boost is where it’s at. I’m now inspired to get the yellow right hand drive cuda done, dang does anyone have a honing plate for mopar R5 NASCAR block?
