Speedometer problem

my speedo on my dohc doesnt work … it stays dead at 0 … sometime when im on the highway at 3000 - 3500 rpm the speedo jumps to 140kmph and stays there and when i decelerate it goes past 180.

do i need another Dohc cluster or is there a simple fix to this problem

Check lights , rpm , fuel , temp…etc everything else works

It could be the speed sensor. If so, replace the speed sensor with a new one. It’s connected to the tranny.

been talked about many times before. Its just ur cluster. U just need to replace the speedometre part and u will be fine. So Dohc or SOHC will work.
