yeah, I hear ya…
Charges for verizon to verizon calls and texts on almost every bill they sent. Id have to constantly go over my bills and decipher what was what. They charged me for data I never sent or received, etc. Not to mention when my millions of phones would malfunction they would never replace them and when they did they were complete assholes about it and it took forever. Your name if they tried it with me. They did to me and my mom what they did to everyone else that they got sued millions of dollars over. They even went as far and fucking my moms credit up over it that still isnt fixed or reversed yet. I will never have anything to do with verizon again.
15+ years here. Their service, for me is generally acceptable, but data is poor. When I have a complaint they usually take care of me. This contract will probably be my last now that they don’t give premier customers an upgrade every year. I’ve had four 4g phones. No 4g yet…Sorry, Bye Bye…
So if they offered you Bisons tickets or something similar, you’re saying there’s a chance?
It suks, even with 4g u can only get 1mb download.
i hope you dont get “the letter” , Sprint has been kicking customers off from their service due to roaming. just dont say you havent been warned
verizon wireless has backup generators at 98% or so of all their cell sites, ask every major company in New Jersey why they now use Verizon Wireless after what happened with Sandy.
fyi, vzw had very few outages and spent hundreds of millions in diesel fuel to keep their service up and running
see what discount you can get with vzw before changing. i wont say at&t is bad, but i can tell you that vzw has the best network in 95% of the USA. its not really fair to compare vzw/at&t to any other network as they are both years ahead of the others
JUAT? baseball is the worst sport on this planet.
Vzw also has a shit ton of redundancy, every aggregate router we have too of, every is run in mated pairs, etc. Like LZ mentioned, most of any possible failure usually comes from the transport side of things. Even that has improved now as much of our backhaul is fiber instead of cobber T lines…we have a pretty extensive fiber ring which gives us very good redundancy.
This thread makes me lol.
You will get identical service to Verizon on a sprint phone. When sprint network ends, you roam on Verizon’s network. Therefore it is exactly as reliable.
What you don’t get access to is great data. 3G coverage is spotty and 4g is lol.
The only time I have ever had any issues with my service is when I have low bars on sprint network but not enough for it to roam onto verions.
This happens to me fairly often, thus for me Sprint sucks. Roaming to another network is not the same as being on that network if/when you need reliability. Plus, as I understand it there are different levels/tiers of network. For example when you’re a Straight talk customer you aren’t getting AT&T top tier coverage. If they offered only one level of service there would be nobody paying full price, they’d just go to Straight talk etc…
