Sprung vs. Unsprung clutches.

A triple plate is slightly more forgiving than an unsprung 6 puck

Sprung clutch for street cars, unsprung for drag cars

Triple plate huh???

huh? a street twin is a double disk unsprung clutch. So you just completely contradicted yourself in that.

Yep, dual unsprung disk, 65-70lbs with full assembly & flywheel. It has a hp limit somewhere north of 1,000 and I daily drive mine. Ive also driven unsprung iron spec stage 5s with little problem. They might have a bit of a bite, but nothing you cant learn to slip. The real problem is only when you buy a lesser clutch and end up slipping it when you DONT want to.

sprung 6 puck here and it fucking rocks, very streetable and bites like a motherfucker on 8k dumps on slicks. Check out Action Clutches. Very solid and very popular for honda apps.
