Same thing happened to my Engine in November. Once the bearing is gone its not worth the trouble unless you don’t mind pulling the entire engine apart yourself. No matter it will still cost $$$ - not worth thr money, time, or hassel.
Mine happened 2 blocks from my house - thought I could make it home in time with little damage but no go. By the time I got home I had no oil or rad fluid.
Filled both back up, started the engine and there was a rythmic knock and oil squirting out my muffler with each rev.
Dude, get another KA or save for the SR.
