SR idle during warmup

Ive always had the problem it just seems to get worse now. During warmup the idle does not stay at 2000rpm for more than a few seconds…it rather tries to idle at 800ish right away and reaally starts to stall and cut out. I always romote start the car and give it 5+ minutes to warm up. It does this on any cold start up…warm or cold out. If i hold the Rpms at 2000rpm it studders or hesitates a bit.

If im in a hurry and have to start it up and go pushing the gas pedal will try to stall the motor out or come close to it…I have a spare block and will try to swap the IAC?..that box with the idle screw. Any ideas?

thats a good idea and maybe take a look at your maf…

Check your temperature sensor. If its not working then the engine doesnt know when its cold or hot.

Ill go at the temperature sensor 1st…sounds easyer to get even tho i recall it being tucked away in there…Those bolts holding the IAC look retarded to get at.
