Heres oil viscosity recommendations for whoever said to find out first…
add oil and it should go away!! use the 5w30
I do use 5w30, and the noise is hardly happening anymore. and im not sure why. but i still have to know for sure what this is for next season…car is parked now for winter so im gonna decide what to work on first on the engine and get into this…
cams are going to get changed for sure to add some needed power. and i will be checking all the lifters by bleeding them…or getting new ones. i was thinking of taking the whole head off and doing the head gasket because why not… but i am unsure if i am going to change valve springs or any other peices in the head…advice?
Yes you can Can change cams and springs and work on the head without removing it. the guides and valves themselves cannot be removed without the Head taken off.
Peace
how much power are you aiming for ?
for 300 - 350 ur good with a metal hg , arp headstuds and cams.
anything over 400 i would start looking into building the head.
