Has anyone heard any good or bad about the motors from there (www.srparts.com) ? I am looking to buy a good SR for my future 240 :smiley: . I feel like a complete n00b asking this (well I am sorta) what exactly is the difference between the red top and black top? Please don’t tear me apart for asking, and yes i’ve used the search bar, and I did some light research. The price for the SR20 on the website s $2400 us, and it comes with 5 spd tranny, ECU, turbo, uncut wiring harness, igniter and the MAF. They also say that they’ll wire it for free. They also inspect, compression test, and detail each motor before they ship it to you. Is this a good deal or… im not sure :oops: if not can someone give me a link to a better one.

AFAIK the black top just has a bit fatter turbo thus puts down more hp

Nope. Same, just blacktops are newer.
