stalling problem ( SR )

I dont have an sr , Still at KA-T baby . The problem is on a friend car, sr black top motor, recently installed a t3 turbo on the motor. Since the install, the car dies out when decelerating; assuming you press the throttle and release, the car will shut off.
He is using a Q45 maf with 1 to 6 setting on the afc2, mind you these same setting were working great on the T28 turbo.
Turbo spool great and car drives fine otherwise.
My questing is what could be causing the car to stall? We pressurize the entire system and sealed all the vacuums leaks. We tested the maf and it works great, Will changing the turbo require changing the maf setting also? We increase fuel pressure and adjusted the afc setting.
I was wondering if the open BOV he is running could be the problem, He use the vent before and never had an issue even though the deceleration setting of the afc are not set.
Any suggestion will be greatly appreciated; we need to get his car running by Monday.

Thanx

yeah, atmosphere BOV will cause umetered air issues, ie:MAFS thinks that there is more air than there actually is (BOV; removed metered air) so fuel is given based on Recirc. BOV. causing rich scenario when throttle is released, may lead to exactly yoiur symptoms…

Move the MAFS, or recirc, or grab an aftermarket fuel computer…etc… that will catch that and save idle, various electronic solutions exist at varied $$

or you could do this on the Safc.

you could also buy an HKS EIDS, but why as you have the afc. the EIDS is made to eliminate your exact issue. The afc will help but not fix it completly. i know I have done both. If you want or know someone who wants and EIDS let me know I have one I would like to get rid of.

We just try recirculating and the car still act that way . rev it up and the idle drop to a stall , we gonna start relacing the fuel filter and replace the plugand wire to start .
Like I said , everything was working fine , and the car was running like a champ with almost 300 HP at the wheel till we installed the new manifold and the T3 turbo , we did not touch the afc nor changing any piping . We raise the fuel pressure a tiny bit .
BTW : we got 550 cc in , was also there before the new turbo and manifold
I dont believe an 02 sensor can cause such problem .
I am out of ideas.
