Starting the car in this cold?

Anyone else having huge trouble with starting their car in this weather? Like earlier in the week when it was a bit colder, my car starter wouldnt work, i have to either plug it in, or go in the car and give it some gas… anyone else having troubles with this?

Its pretty early in the winter to have starting problems allready. Has it even got to minus 10 yet?

What kinda of car? Cant be the Sentra…

Are you having starting problems with your 2003 spec?

Wow dude, I’ve never really seen you on here before, but yeah you shouldn’t be having problems starting your car at like -3, Id be going to get your battery voltage checked, maybe you just need a new one.

yeah i took it before to ericksen but they didnt come up with anything. It didnt start this morning or the day before, i had this problem last year also. To replicate the problem, id have to leave it there overnight which is such an inconvenience but i guess its the only route. Is that still covered by warranty?

Battaries usually never are covered just like brakes, and clutches.

It would be if your altenator is not charging the battery correctly or if you have some faulty wiring there somewhere. If you just have a POS battery then no.

I thought I remembered numerous other '03 Spec owners having this problem a few years back.

The only problem I had starting mine was when my cylinders were full of coolant. Slight headgasket issues. :E

Hahaha shit. That would do the trick.
