Starting Trouble

So I get my car inspected monday and they had to take apart the steering column because people tried to steal it and the pins were knocked out down there. So now I go in my car and try to turn it on. The ignition turns all the way forward with no resistance what so ever. The lights and radio and 4 ways all work fine (battery good). The turn signals and highbeams were not working. The accessory lights do not work. The ignition felt like it was not engaging anything. When I turn it all the way to the crank position it does not spring back. Im thinking that the ignition is not engaging the cylindar and the people who inspected my car f-ed up, any suggestions?

replace ignition cylinder… i think you pretty much answered your own question though

take that shit back if it worked fine when u dropped it off

yea, take it back and demand they fix the problems.

yeah i took it back and they fixed it for free. He said the little plastic gear slipped off of the cylinder. THANKS
