State Police 1 Camry and Sport Bike 0

I was getting at the same thing.

I understand they’re “breaking down on aggressive drivers,” but the state has added a good number of new troopers to their count lately. I’m sorry, but I really think taxpayers money should be spent on making life better for citizens - of course one can say that stopping asshole drivers is better (and I’d agree to some extent of course), but I’d much rather see that money go to helping some people. Whether it be new schools/supplies or some sort of aid for animal shelters or food banks. That’s money well spent. I think PA is a lame ass state in regards to budgeting money. I’m not saying plug all the state revenue into welfare or unemployment and let people live on it forever, but I am saying there are a ton of other options other than state troopers. Not to mention pretty soon every road in PA will be a toll road, yet none are in good shape. IIRC there a good few bypasses and roads on just the western side of PA that were supposed to be free once they were “paid for” by tolls. Yet to see that one happen. I’m sorry, but PA wastes money and having 8 cops pulling over 2 cars is a typical example of such. I would think it especially poor if, as it seems to be described, the cops were all over the road causing a build up of traffic. Which, it seems like that would have to be the case as there’s no way 8 are fitting on the shoulder of any PA road (and naturally most roads around here have small ones or none at all anyhow).
