1. It’s disrespectful to people who are afraid of dogs. People out there do exist that are irrationally afraid.

B) I have yet to come in contact with any type of small yapping dog, especially a chihuahua, that doesn’t run away as fast as possible when you try to pet it if it doesn’t know you.

Blame the owner, not the dog. Its the owners own ignorance. It’s not like the dog can put a leash on his self. I’m not sure if there is a dog law in Tonawanda but in Wheatfield there is a dog law that states your dog must be on a leash at all times and on your own property. What I hate is when a owner allows the dog to shit on your lawn and others while knowing full well what the dog is doing. Again, this is the owners responsibility. Just my perspective.

Guy has lived there a long time and is my only neighbor.
When I moved in he mentioned that they tend to wander into the yard (think it’s theres) Oh well.
The worst thing they do is walk over, bark at me for 15 seconds and walk home. ha

Good example of choosing your battles. :tup: If all they do is bark but don’t actually approach you and try to attack, then who gives a shit. Might as well keep a good relationship with the neighbor. Most people would take something like this and blow it way out of proportion.

My neighbor has two old ass goldens that wander into my yard all the time (idgaf they leave my dog alone so we are cool)They getting into petting range and bark at me. In my yard.

IMO it’s pretty cruel to stomp a small dog to death. I have wanted to do it many times, I hate small yippee dogs. At the end of the day we are human and conscious of our decisions to take another life, especially something so small and innocent. I say innocent because it is a dumb animal acting on instincts, not conscious choice. There is a thing called measured response, these kids could have shooed it away but instead chose to kill it. That’s no different than a police officer using deadly force on a j walker. Measured response.

If the dog was biting then even kicking it would have been a much more reasonable response but I guess putting reasonable, teenager and ToT in the same sentence is a bad choice.

BDR lives over that way I wonder if he heard about it, he hears about everything.

I didn’t read the thread. I read a few posts, got enough info to give input.

If the kids stomped the little fucker on the owners property, they need to be shot with a crossbow.
If the dog charged them in the street, they didnt have to stomp it to death.

If a small dog charges me, I’m going to field goal kick it for all its worth, I’m not getting bit for no reason. (tho the sueing idea is awesome)

as far as the dog being off the leash, if your dog is in your yard off its leash, and your yard isnt fenced in, you are an asshole and deserve your dog to bite someone so you can get sued.

didn’t have time to read the entire thread yet but I can’t fucking stand those little piece of shit dogs. Every customer’s house I go into they go fucking ape shit. barking and acting like they are going to bite you. I normally dismiss it as a annoyance and go about my business. I usually don’t even ask customer to lock up their dogs because they almost always let them back out a few min later. Usually I will not talk to the customer if their dog is barking because I don’t like to get interrupted. There was only one instance I asked the customer 3 times to put their dog away. he kept letting him back out. I came out of the basement with the customer behind me and when I opened the door his dog bit me. I didn’t mean to but I booted the dog all the way across the kitchen (the rat sliding on the tile made it more dramatic). I kept myself from swearing but said very loudly COULD YOU PLEASE LOCK YOU DOG UP! I felt really bad but WTF. I am at your house to fix your TV. I don’t want to meet your dog. Lock it up so I can do my job and go about my business.
