Steelers 08

12.5 mill and not play a game. i love it. i believe they are not going to live up to everyone’s expectations but i will still be watching every game that i can. now that i have a job with sundays off.

rod woodsoon had some good years aftyer he left. thats the only one, maybe chad brown, brentson buckner

Kendrell Bell comes to mind as well.

I heard that Casey Hampton couldnt run the 8 100 yard sprints required (his fat ass only could run 5) and is not placed on the unable to perform list. Come on now you fat ass…this is your job you get paid millions of $ for…quit being lazy and come in to camp in somewhat decent shape.

I heard they did put him on the PUP list.

DVE was making fun of him the other day. His excuse was he should be able to work him self back in shape during preseason and NO ONE is in season shape when they start camp.

I could see that, but pretty much he is on the “To fat to perfom” list. End of story.

I can understand where he comes from when he says that you don’t get into game shape until you strap up the pads. But he should have the decency to keep himself in shape enough to run a few sprints. I mean he is a multi-million dollar athlete. Its not like these sprints were a surprise.

However, The man serves one purpose in our 3-4 scheme. The purpose is to occupy two people in order to keep offensive blockers from cleanly getting to the second level. I’m not sure if I can ever say I have seen Casey Hampton make a tackle in space or outside of the tackle box for that matter.

Punter Down. Dan Sepulveda is out for the season with a torn ACL.

Yeah I heard that on espn radio on the way home from work yesterday. Sucks, this kid seems like he was starting to get decent late last year and was expected to turn it up this year. Oh well hopefully we do OK with a guy who rarely punts…haha

Ya I agree, I can only think of two ex-Steelers that did well after they left. Hardy Nickerson (Tampa) and Mike Vrabel (N.E.)
