Hey ya’ll. The other day I was trying to install my aftermarket steering wheel+hub but I came across a problem. I’ve tried the search directory but didn’t see anything. Anyways, I had the old wheel off and had that circular discs apart so that I can use the one disc with the 3 connecting points for the horn. Well I had the hub on and as I tightened the hub down the horn went off. Well I found that the hub sets the horn off as soon as it makes contact with the 3 points. How do I install the hub and still have the horn functional with out it going off on its own? Oh yeah I drive a 91 240.
Get a proper hub that’s designed to make contact with the horn gound pin.
