Step in healthy eaters v. low carb

Why is this though? Why do you want to do something so specific if you just want to get healthy? Why not just take normal, general steps to be healthy?

Unless you’re a allergic to gluten, gluten free is just annoying.

I am more concerned how much crap they put gluten is as a filler to make shitty food fill you up.

But if you plan on eating healthier then you’re already solving that problem.

Best way to eat: Does it come from the ground? Did it have a mother?

If you can answer yes to those questions when picking out food, then you’re on the right path.

Also looking at ingredients. =) The amount of things that are sold as say “strawberries” that is processed don’t even have strawberries as the first ingredient so have resorted to raw/fresh foods. Little more effort but 100x the results.

Hit up dat young Farmer’s market. We go to the Tonawanda one. Some places sell the same berries as Weggers and Tops, but other stands will have fresh really juicy and delicious strawberries and other fruits. The difference is amazing. Plus you go there with $20 and you got enough fruits and vegetables for a couple weeks.

While the produce is good, fresh, and supports local blah blah blah, I have found the Farmer’s markets to be a little pricey yet. I get all of my produce on the cheap from Niagara Produce at Transit and Millersport. They have the same locally grown goods, and a huge selection.
