I was just gonna say that
I’d light the town up. Screw my wife’s job. The people at the town wouldn’t mess with me or my wife, knowing the size of my backbone. Just don’t use the phrase “my taxes, pay your salary”. It’s so cliche and cheesy.

A buddy of mine has one of these in his barn and it kept the mice out. I am not sure if it will work for cats, but it’s worth a shot.

Unfortunately the life of a stray cat isn’t as glamorous as Disney’s Aristocats would have you believe. There are countless thousands of stray and feral cats in Europe, and for the majority of them life is about survival and hardship, as opposed to enjoying jazz. So how do you recognise the poor things, and most importantly – what do you do when you find one in your area?

What area are you in, exactly? I have a lot of connections with animal rescue people, and I know there are several that do TNR (Trap-Neuter-Release) programs in Rochester/Buffalo/Syracuse. Who did the SPCA refer you to?

^ ya its really not their fault, that stupid woman should have been shot in the face for feeding them and programming them to keep coming back to her house.

Can’t really see trap, neuter and release as an effective solution, at least not for a decade or so. Even once these die out you’re assuming the asshole cat people won’t just bring in more cats.
