Holy Flat Dyno Graph Batman:
This was at 13 psi on a nearly stock 5.3L GMC Seira (other than the STS kit of course). The #s are 436rwhp, 479rwtq (converter unlocked) which might not seem that impressive but you have to remember this is a 5.3L through an Auto. I don’t know exactly what these things dyno stock, but basically that’s about a 200 RWHP gain.
And have you ever seen a dyno curve so flat!?!?!?!
I’m not sure where the boost is being measured (I’ll find out though) and if the boost observed at the motor is actually less or something, cuz 13 psi sounds awfully high but they had no problems. The truck actually has an alky kit in it because they anticipated needing it on the high boost runs. But as it turns out the Intake Air Temp was 160 degrees without the help of the alky, no knock, and the alky only made it go pig rich and lose HP.
