Subframes

So instead of 4 lines (2 running all the way to the rear subframe) you removed the pump and all the lines, and switched to a 2ws pump…smart IMO. But if you removed the lines going to the back, what is the HICAS stopper bar for at that point?

to keep the wheels straight… as you are not changing the subframe and well on the hicas cars there are tie rods that would go to the rack… so instead of a rack there is that ‘fake’ rack which is the ‘stopper bar’ (thats a direct replacment fit to the rack position).

Now do you get it?

OH, so what would usually keep the rear wheels straight in a non HICAS subframe (tie rods or whatever) is ebing replaced by this bar that manually keeps the wheels locked straight in a HICAS subframe.
