So I got a new cd player and installed it in my car, and after wiring it up it works fine, until i plug in my RCA cables in the back for my system, now every time i turn the volume down to 0 and then back up my bass pops! and every time i switch modes or radio stations i hear BOOOM! I figured it was just the ground and tried re grounding it in numerous places, but yet with the same result…any ideas?
thanks!
That happens when the amp is powered on before the source. It probably has something to do with your remote wire from the headunit to the amplifier. What kind of headunit is it?
a shitty sony, that could be because my remote wire never use to work so i had so spice it into the accessory wire, but i changed it back to the wire on the harness marked as the amp wire… I think i still had the same problem
try a switch… also check you “gain”
switch for?
power (rmt wire )its getto but would work …
it could be so many different things…
haha damn, maybe just a new cd player will be an easy fix huh?:retard:
does it do with turn on and off as well?
relay on remote to get rid of on/off pop
relay on the remote?
haha im sorry
ditch the sony and get a pioneer
yeah I know, it was just going to be a temporary one, it was free, cant beat that
i’m just gonna go with a flip out now haha but thanks everyone!
