I can speak for an S60 R. They’re incredible, I love mine, but the mileage is very poor. And it’s far from slow or unresponsive. On the contrary, it’s pretty damn quick, and handles quite well for what it is.

:lol: wtf… an E46M3 Brake job will cost about $1100 if you do it yourself, and go with cheap rotors/pads. For decent parts its ~$250 a rotor, $150 for front pads, $150 for rear pads, plus fluid.

Not really, we just don’t have to worry about 4 cams… We still have everything the same in regards to required maintenance, and you don’t have to worry about subframes

M3’s go through clutches and bushings every 30k miles too? We do not have to worry about subframes instead we just sheer off swaybar brackets. But they are like $5 so it is no biggie. Im just going off how ILC claims all the time that he just does oil changes and thats it.

Why not just get a diesel truck. They respond well to mods, rwd, awd, get good fuel milage and diesel is greaper than gas again.

If she wants to build a car herself, she could get a nice IS300 and go to SRT racing. Turbo kit is 6-7k and like 400+whp

Clutches are at 75kish, but cost $400 for stuck or 700+ for a good aftermarket, bushings are every 30k if you don’t go aftermarket. (RTAB, RSM, LCABs)

Every 60k is all above with fuel filter, spark plugs

Oem brakes? why you could so a set of hawk hps pads and rotors cheaper then 500.

Why would you give some rude type answer to someone just trying to give you/your sister some insight before making a purchase? If you/your sister are spending 15-20K why would it not be an E46? Anyhow GL in the search.
