Summer is over -- prepping for Spring 2006

Well, summer must be almost over because I’ve already switched over to next spring’s mod list.

Anybody else already mentally prepping for Summer 2006?

What are your plans/thoughts?

Mine:

  • Bigger Turbo (already have GT2871R .86 in the mail)
  • Cams (HKS 264/264 Step II’s)
  • Intake Mani / TB (Greddy or knock-off…maybe Q45 TB)
  • Head gasket (Stock bore, stock thickness, just stronger)
  • PFC Datalogit (maybe if the price comes down)
  • 19psi+ (Oh baby)
  • 400+ to the wheels on pump (Oh crap)

…and probably going to need bigger injectors too…I’m going to run out with the 600’s

I don’t even know what car I’ll be driving by then so i can’t very well say what I have planned.

oh there is enough R&D and the car will be like no other S13 on SON once finished… :wink:

and I already have rims… and my roll cage was finished months ago I just havent installed it since I’m focusing on other issues with the car

im going to be driving my car until it starts to really get faggity out as far as weather.

prolly into december for sure.

before winter i’d like to get this far:

Enthalpy ECU
Z32 mafs
550’s

i think for next year i just want to have a nice pair of seats and some fukkin disgusting wheels.

i’ll wait to figure out if the power upgrades i do will be enough for me or not.

after not having my SR for 3 months i tells ya i can see myself being happy with 300rwhp rather than not having the car at all.

also,

i can really really see myself snatching up a cheap SR’d s13 either in canada or the US for under $5000 and just modding it slightly for pure drift use.

not because i think i need a second car but just because i need to get my jollies going sideways and dont really want to hurt my coupe again.

plus it would be pure baller to say that i have 2 sr20 powered cars and one i jsut use to beat on…lol… maybe i’ll use it just for track use and as a winter car…lol

well the car goes for hibernation early Oct. so while shes under, im goin to get some:
-17’s (Axis Reverb, Black)
-some nice Bing multi-link
-Bings catback
-full ES bushing kit
-possibly new bake system(dont know what to go with yet tho :? )
-in the end maby have some left over coin to start the motor project. KA-T

i’m hoping to cage the car this winter, along with a set or two of slicks.

finish the motor put it in real clean and spend a long time at the dyno getting her just right - and then not touching it again after that

Maybe Ill just take the subs out the back of my car and put a Porsche 911TT (996) motor in. that could be fun,

im planning the complete over haul :smiley: well not planning it has started

doors, bumpers, fenders, interior, windows out so far engine next then

paint having a tough time picking a colour… if i ever get a digicam ill keep
