Summer Project: Sr20det or Rb20det?

it’s actually a bit less to put an RB in to an s13 if you include the cost of the motor since they’re quite a bit cheaper to buy than an SR20…

Also, I’m not sure who the guys on the street are - but I know a few guys down south with rb20’s who’re all pushing more whp than anyone on SON.

Cheaper and better? Omg!

Blasphemy!

But SR’s are t3h pwnz! As soon as you drop em in the s-chassis, they make more stock hp than a rb26!

rb’s roxor your soxorz

direct cam on lifter action > split-duty cam followers

Will the intake manifold for the RB clear the hood of a 240?

I never said better. All I meant was that they’re not “dog slow” as a couple of guys so nicely put it.

They’re different, probably equally as awesome as an SR… for cheaper  (to install… gas mileage could also be taken in to consideration… and reliability… both of which could be less on the RB I dont know)

//edit// : “for cheaper” was just a stab… it’s not much cheaper if at all so don’t get all excited people.
