Friend at my old college got together a car show I guess. Here’s some info if anyone’s interested in goin. I’ll probably be going

SUNYIT Auto Show presented by SUNYIT’s SAE Baja club

Cars, Trucks and Bikes! Bring it all!

SUNYIT Campus in Donovan Parking lot. Lot opens at 10AM and will run till the last person leaves!

$10 Entry fee per car, free walk-in. Everyone is welcome, on campus and off campus (open to the public).

Cash prizes for people’s choice of car, 50/50 raffle, music, food, and T-shirts.

Let everyone know and tell them to bring their vehicle!

no you dont. at least i dont think you do.

actually i’m 99.99999% positive you dont. because there was an s2000 that ran last year in AS on hoosier a6’s that ran with the top down and no roll bar. it was bone stock minus the hoosiers.

thats for that specific clinic. PM eric (EJEvo) tom (1stgen) byron (byroll) or lyndon (crappachico) to confirm, but for auto X’s i’m 99.99999% sure you’re perfectly fine to run just as you are.

I only had the miata up there once or twice. I’ve been driving a red 99 camaro for bout the past month

I’ll bring the miata up if I can get my buddy’s trailer that day, she’s currently not on the road ftl

yeah thats who im thinking of, the one who wouldn’t pop his hood for a normal guy, but then did for the lower lot crew… only to reveal a CAI and a nice set of spark plug wirez :lol

get it inspected/registered/insured! you’ve got 15 days!

No roll bar required for a Miata at an SCCA Solo autocross. The link you found is for an event held at Lime Rock Park back in 2004. Convertibles are typically required to have rollbars at track events, but not at autocrosses.
