SuperCharging a Northstar

Anyone have any idea on how I can go about this task? I’v got a '96 caddy seville and I just long to make it my own custom V series. Just wondering what the experts suggest. Untill then, what can I do for more power? AKA: whats the cheapest/most effective way

:tspry:

bump for a fellow noob

Yup, that’ll do it.

REAL good help, cmon wheres the mod gods

seriosuly :tspry: nitrous will pep that mother up. I know my buddy hAS a v8 northstar in his caddy its got some pep but a lil 100 :tspry: will make it tits and beer, if u will

That is the nitrous button thumb.

Thats really the cheapest way to add power. As far as supercharging goes, I’m sure Vortech or Paxton make something for that car. If not, there is always custom work that can be done. That gets expensive though. Centrifugal superchargers are probably the best bet. I don’t know of any roots style made for the Northstar V8. Of course I dont think a lot of 50 something guys (the usual Cadillac buying age) are supercharging their Caddys either.

Why not make it really different and throw some turbos on??

2 giant turbos wiht big turbo lag would be hilarious, no power then BAAAAMMM!

i thought that was just the Thumbs up…my bad.

turbos do come in differant sizes…

No, two small turbos. Something nice and streetable and with a V8 it will spool small turbos nice and quick.

Won’t nitrious put to much strain on the engine?

nothign on vortech or paxton made for that, will need to be custom

Price estimate for the 2 turbos?

im gonna be sorta helping…lo

Wheres INN-Tune ? need him in here

How much of a shot do you plan on using?

Whats normal?

How much boost you think we should run?

If i know anything about nitrious, I could tell you

Price really isn’t a concern, but my engine lasting 4 years is

520 hp …
