T28 vs. T25

For my personal driving style…I’ll trade a little lag for some top end grunt any day of the week.

g-tech showed me in at 13.3 1/4 mile usuakky accurate within a tenth of a second, on my first try, 9psi , stock motor, untuned, and ghetto in my drivway with minimal cashola, seems pretty good to me , and im not running a huge turbo yet… :wink:

i think generally people are always faster on the street than on the strip

my white car did a 13.1 on the rsm gp but i garuntee you at the strip it woulda been around 13.6 at best

its all about trap speed if you want to compare the cars, so lets go with that

for 300rwhp i think KA is best actually

couple reasons

A) the engine is already in the car and is known to run well, many srs will never run as well as their stock KA did.

B) you know this engine’s condition, whereas an SR you are getting may be a heap of shit

C) the extra .4L of displacement really gives you a smoother powerband

that being said i like the SR because:

A) it sounds fucking BADASS with a good exhaust

B) when its running good you cant blow that shit up (dont bring me up, because it wlil show how uneducated you are)

C) if you get a good motor its like starting fresh with a very low KM KA, sweet.

I think if the KA-T community was as established as it is today when i got my S14 i woulda pulled the motor put hg pistons rods and gotten a good kit for the KA, jantos’ car is a good example of an SR worthy KA. very clean with good components, excpet for the fact that his turbo is way too big for racing.

you know most guys would have by now let you know that they had 0 compression on cylinder 4 and a blown headgasket as an excuse for the speed of there car , and yes those problems were there before she even came on the road

well stayed side by side with an sr that ran 13.1 on street tires , my 9psi stayed with his 16psi,

dont forget you drove my car with the fifth injector shooting an extra 750 cc into the motor and was tuned really crappy and on a super hot day

i also smoked an svt cobra that ran 13 flat and i beat him by a car and a half

so i think im doing pretty good for my surprisingly nice car :lol:

well it doesnt matter the proof is in the pudding we will go at it and have some fun , ill put my car tuned properly and at the same boost up against a t-25 or t-28 any day with my little t-03b. and you will have one day and one day only at the dragstrip to go up againt my car cuz that is the last day she will ever roll under its own power… seee you at the track, unless you dont have enough :wink:

t25 and t28 are shit turbos

and the s14 and s15 t28s are not the same, the s15 t28 has a different compressor and exhaust turbine design which is more efficent from a differnet manufacturer, and it has a wastegate devider.
