tail light tint

I was driving down quaker road, by the aviation mall, last night with a few of my friends. We were just cruising when a cop warren county sheriff comes out of nowhere and pulls me over for my tail light tint. I was pretty irritated because i was under a mile from my friends place and all of our tail lights are tinted just as dark as mine. This was the third or fourth time I’ve been pulled over in the over a month since I tinted them darker and the first time I got a fix it ticket for the tails. It was around a 20-25 minute traffic stop for a fix it ticket. The cop even wrote out a statement of evidence against me ahahaha.

It reads out “I have tail lights”, “i put tint on them”. This guy must think hes a detective lol

3-4 times for the same offense… logic would say fix the issue, or keep getting stopped. if you choose the latter, dont complain about it.

the 3 or 4 times wasnt for the tail light tint. i was stopped 3 times before last night but they never ticketed me for tint

might just be me, but i like to not attract attention, and dark tails do just that, as do poorly fitted HID kits. my car is pretty subtle, and quiet. i say just reduce the level. strip them and do it lighter. tail lights done with VHT nightshades or even lamin-x’d that are too dark look awful IMO.

no. the 3-4 traffic stops was me trying to say that is me saying that i get stopped on a regular basis for other stuff and i hadn’t gotten ticket for tail light tint. heh maybe i just dont make any sense right now

with tailight tint, use common sense, if its black your not gonna see your lights very well and your gonna get pulled over. I know SSSMOKINSSSS has his tails blacked out and his lights are very hard to see.

and I have yet to be pulled over for it. I have had countless amounts of cops driving behind me in stop and go traffic…no issues.

that one night, they didnt even look like they were on until he hit his brakes. while yours were clearly visibile.

yea, mine seem to have faded. I’m gonna redo them, maybe a hair darker this time.

I’d say take the tint off and get the newer style EP3 tails :thumbup
