might just be me, but i like to not attract attention, and dark tails do just that, as do poorly fitted HID kits. my car is pretty subtle, and quiet. i say just reduce the level. strip them and do it lighter. tail lights done with VHT nightshades or even lamin-x’d that are too dark look awful IMO.
