I want to know where to unbolt the pedals i dont have in on my car but i am going to take one out and i want to know if its a hard job…also the break pedal too …how long does it take anyone know?
very simple. 14mm socket, ratchet, and some extensions.
disconnect the shaft from the pedals via a cotter pin., you can unthread the shaft.
clutch pedal is easy to take out, brake pedal might be harder.
you have to lower the steering column as much as you can, that means takeing out the bracket that supports the column.
remove that and the whole column will come down to the floor.
that should help you a lot.
if you need a visual before attempting this, take a look at the FSM for the yr of the 240 your taking the stuff out of.
hope this helps a lot
you can also just cut your brake pedal smaller if your doing a auto-5spd conver its alot easier and works and look the same i have had no problems with mine and i cut it in about 1 mins as apposed to doing all the work to get the brake pedel swapped
