Tall Pines ATV

Anyone ever check it out?

Thinking in the next few weeks I’ll hit it up. Want to try out something new instead of always going to Majestic.

ugg Tall Pines not Trail

It’s a blast. They have a ton of different terrain to choose from. Everything from mud holes to fire roads. The “difficult” terrain isn’t to bad. I made it through pretty much everything on a 2wd machine.

I’m gonna have to check it out!

anyone know if the atv needs to have plates here? i usually just ride on private land and never registered either atv

Looks like a blast. Only about 15 miles from my cabin where we keep our 4-wheelers too. Gonna have to make it out there this summer.

No need for plates or reg. Show up with a helmet, pay $20.00 and go ride.

Sweet. This is the reason I don’t ride at majestic.

Majestic has a leg up over Tall Pines, but Tall Pines won’t disappoint.

Majestic doesn’t require plates.

I was all for it until I read this:

All kinds of ATV’s, dirt
bikes, and UTV’s are welcome, but please,
no 3-wheelers.

Looks like me and my friends won’t be visiting any time soon.

on the site it says if in your state you need reg and plates then you need to go by those laws

We do not check for registration or insurance but you must be aware the State of Pennsylvania requires that you be registered & insured.

  1. We do recommend for your own protection that you carry insurance and register your machine.
Dirt Bikes are NOT required to be registered in the State of PA.
  1. You must be aware that Pennsylvania requires ATV’s to be registered. We will NOT be held liable if
you are caught. Fines can and will be imposed by DCNR if you are caught. DCNR will accept most
    out-of-state registrations (including Ohio).
  1. Cost to register your machine with the DCNR is ONLY $10 per year ($20 for two years). You can
register your machine in Pennsylvania even if you are from out-of-state

They don’t care if you are registered. Just recommend it, ride at your own risk. I wouldn’t worry about it, never seen or heard of anyone getting a ticket.

Based on my schedule and my bro’s it looks like we are going on May 19th.

good to know

:bump: Looks like we are heading out Saturday to maybe try this place or just go to majestic.

how far are both of these places from buffalo? to lazy to look up the places as I’m on my phone

Majestic is far nicer for dirt bikes imo. Allegheny Nat Forest(Bradford, Kane PA) http://www.fs.usda.gov/activity/allegheny/recreation/ohv/?recid=13370&actid=93 is another cool place to ride but while dirt bikes don’t need registered or insured, 4 wheelers must have both.

Looks like a nice place. I really wish there were more local places to ride in Buffalo besides knowing someone with private land.

Regardless I have been wanting to go on a day trip to ride with my roommate and my girlfriend, this looks like a good choice as well as majestic.
