Tank grips Tech Spec vs Stomp grip

Stomp Grip is the first thing I did to both of my bikes after I got them. I echo Gundam’s comment with the Tech Spec that they are more street (clothing) friendly. My riding jeans are showing wear from the Stomp Grip and it bites if you are not wearing leather or using knee guards.

I’ve used them both at the track and they seemed to preform about the same. Tech Spec “claimed” to be reusable, but personally I wouldn’t trust that. Just make sure to follow instructions when installing and there is usually 24hrs period for the adhesive to set.

There are also DIY tank grip online.

I’ve actually had to pull off and move my techspecs once it worked.
But when I ripped one it was a bitch getting it off.:rofl
