Target Pulling Out of Canada... And Sony, Mexx and more...

I’m honestly surprised that Target lasted as long as it did. The promise of “cheap” products went unfulfilled. I personally found Target to be rather expensive, and absolutely nothing like the chain in the US. It would have been better for Canada (as a whole) to invest in it’s own companies (HBC having owned Zhers).

That’s the problem with Canada - the PST, GST, EST, FST, DST, etc lol
Family has a cottage at Crystal Beach. Just the cost for basic necessities is super outrageous, plus I prefer my milk in a carton over a plastic bag. Plus, the beer is damn expensive. Paying the bills now will be a plus on the American Dollar.

The three bridges into the US are always crowded. Canadians always make long 3 day weekends to do shopping in the US and will even go to PA to avoid the sales tax.
