Try opening up a high school funded by tax dollars that teaches White Pride and see what happens. That’s basically the opposite of what goes on there. Chicano pride shouldn’t be “thank you for allowing us to use your money to teach people how to hate you/kill you/etc.”. It should be “thank you for helping us to get ahead and getting us away from widespread corruption that threatened our lives every day”.
