No I don’t really care. You have your opinion and brand of choice and I have mine. Also the TDI pulling the jet on a flat runway doesn’t really prove anything. To use a similar example a train that requires 3 locomotives rated at 6000 hp each to move it down a mainline that has 3% grades can be moved by a switch with only 4000hp in a yard that has level track. It’s a cool PR stunt by VW but its about the same as when they took a chevy dually and used it to tow a loaded up semi and excavator combo on truck years ago. Yes it can do it for a short period of time, but it definetly won’t hold together if you do it regularly.

thanks for explaining it to me, i wasnt quite sure. i thought it would last 100k or more when towing a 747.:crazy

“my brand of choice” you are dumb. if i needed a truck, id buy a truck. but why buy a 1.8t jetta that calls for premium gasoline(same cost as diesel) when i can get a TDI and get twice the mileage.
