tdi_logik's new TDi. 03 jetta variant

wagons are bad rides some people will never learn this.

If its auto, its mediocre at best.

its 5mt

Diesels. Taking. Over. Shift. Sweet ride tdi buddy.

Too bad most of them are tdi’s :lol

this

:rofl

Not sure where the too bad comes from… :ponder Stock for stock, 2.0 TDI > 6.6 Duramax (tq per liter).

LULZ

New ride looks good peter.

lol classic import guy arguement. My motor is more efficient and powerful then yours per liter. So I have a solution. Why don’t we get a tug of war between you and the other TDI owner all hook chains to underboosteds dually and see who wins. In all serriousness of course a TDI can be optimized to make the most power possible since it operates underless stressful conditions. A roughly 9k pound truck is rated to pull 21k pounds, over twice it’s own weight. Far as I know no TDI can do that. Different purposes behind each power plant.

Well comparing towing capacities is like comparing apples to oranges. There isn’t really much that can be compared between the two other then power figures…

ive got nothing against tdi’s i love them and want one for the mpg’s, longevity, & euro elegance factor but youve got it backwards its 6.6 dmax > 2.0 tdi

Sort of, but you can’t really compare peak power on either or power vs. displacement, because both vehicles are designed for very different purposes. The VW is for carting around you and your groceries and the GM is for dragging big heavy ass trailers, plowing and what now. So the GM can’t be tuned as agressively and all the drivetrain and frame pieces have to be significantly heavier duty. Just saying your comparsion is no more or less valid then mine.

TDI power.

&

:rofl at comparing TDI’s and dually diesels. LMAO

yes its a repost but it’s on the same topic as MK4 30R. Don’t think the Toureg could pull that off.

youre an idiot. youre trying to compare HD trucks to a passenger car/SUV :retardclap

I knew you were secretly a TDI buddy, lol. But if my math is correct (stock for stock):

2.0 CR TDI (09-10): 236ftlbs / 2.0 = 118 ftlb per liter

6.6 LB7: 500ftlbs (2001) / 6.6 = 75.75 ftlb per liter
6.6 LB7: 520ftlbs (2004) / 6.6 = 78.78 ftlb per liter
6.6 LLY: 560ftlbs (2006) / 6.6 = 84.84 ftlb per liter
6.6 LBZ: 650ftlbs (2007) / 6.6 = 98.48 ftlb per liter
6.6 LMM: 660ftlbs (2007.5+) / 6.6 = 100 ftlb per liter
6.6 LML: 765ftlbs (2011) / 6.6 = 115.90 ftlb per liter

Of course, STOCK.

If I’m an idiot then so are you. You posted a link of a toureg pulling a jet on level ground. Not really a good demonstration of power at all. Yes is a v10 turbo diesel big freakin deal, it costs as much as a loaded 3500 if I remember correctly. This whole banter back and forth is :retardclap:retardclap:retardclap so congradulations to all of us.

yep this is definetly shifts dumbest comparison ever.
