Intresting, looks like we have a strong top end power. Were you in the top of 4th gear on that run? Becaue we weren’t. A well built motor can do wounders on any turbo kit you put in.

from what i see in your times is that we can def run mid 11’s on what we have already.

here is the slip, i don’t see this as amazing or hard to belive. Traps match the SOHC that made around the same power.

wat tranny is in the car and wat are you revving to that the car is still in third at 124?

Yeah it was a usdm itr trans, i was at the top of fourth. His car does have a mean top end. Are you running an ls trans? Almost a 2.0 60’ on slicks, thats ugly. Car should see mid 11s as it sits at that mph with a 1.6X

You said you were staying in 3rd gear through the traps on a usdm gsr trans?

Impossible. You would of had to been in 4th

No way. Even with an LS trans, at 9100, you would be at the limiter at 122mph

not true, i traped 126 with my ls back in the day, and i always finished in top of 3rd gear.

I will find my slip from my b16 @ 400whp from a few years ago. 124mph trap.

on the LS yes. Juan main rev limiter is set to cut fuel at 9300 and ignition at 9200. We should put a stock head in the car and see what results we get.

that website is just a calculation, its not real life. Does it factor in tire growth down the track?

No it does not. Im tring to understand the fact that he trapped 124 on 24.5s at 330whp, on a GSR trans spinning to 9100… It honestly doesnt add up at all. 10 MPH in the 1/4, at the same boost level with the only variable being simply bolting on slicks…

i went 118 on street tires, if you took that it would be 6mph more. And you have to take into consideration that the hp reading was on a dyno not real driving conditions. 124 traps show a 350hp car. Powerband owns.

i dont know about that. More around a 118-120mph in a hatch @ 350whp. Were you spraying at the top of the track?
