Tendonitis - Is there a Cure?

This thread is fun Jesse!!!

Ugh.

The bicep’s main function is to supinate the forearm, NOT to bend the elbow. I’m sure you don’t know what that means, but go ahead and look it up. Bending the elbow with weight is the best way to fatigue the muscle, but that’s what I’m trying to tell Muscle50 to stop doing if he wants whatever he has to heal.

And this:

Was in regards to this:

Point being: no you don’t.

Edit- Muscle50, does it hurt to do hammer curls?

somewhat true yes but maybe something different, i mean he is saying that its the grip that is causing it WHAT DO I KNOW I JUST DO MUAY THAI NEWAYZ

OH FUCK… I get that too… are you sure its tenditis? I thought it was just strained tendons or something… Even If I’m curling the 35s I get the pain… it fucking blows…

I’m a total newbie to weight training please enlighten me.

Jesse, just stand there and rotate your wrists around in a twisting motion and you’ll build gargantuan biceps like Mr. Pass McGass, all without any pain! I think he’s on to something!!! We’ve been doing it wrong!

weight training and anatomy are two different things.

im gonna change my answer to see a doctor/PT and rest it, i doubt u have any cage fights coming UP?!?!?!

Who the fuck are you?

:drama2:

Like a motherfucker! That’s how I hurt it in the first place. Doesn’t really hurt too bad on other curls just a slight “twinge”

the same asshole that “lost all respect for me” when i didn’t rebuild my car fast enough for him

AHH I see. Just another pussy with a keyboard.

JESSE I THINK U JUST NEED TO CALM DOWN IN THE GYM BRO lol jk…

have u ever taken enough rest for it to go away? and then go back and after first visit the pain comes right back??

LOL, that’s how it usually goes. You take some time off, feel awesome, get all psyched to get in there, and WHAM, right back to square one, lol.

yea when my left jab hit the bag, i had a sharp pain in my shoulder… my coach had me use it lightly if at all and i got crazy with my right cross and everything else…

i put this TIGER BALM on it and this other chinese oil i got from the kung fu teacher in the same gym where i was training, and it smelled horrible but it like made it 100%

then i hit it again and after the first or 2nd boxing session, it was back, made me so MAD rather than in pain

I remember you.
I’ll chime in.

The longer patient suffers from increased joint pain the greater the risk for heart attack.
It is believed that the inflammation associated with joint pain may be caused by an accumulation of white blood cells in the artieries. When they restrict the arteries, inflammation and joint pain appears. In fact one who suffer from joint pain High blood pressure can make matters worse for him in most of the cases.
When patient has a normal blood pressure levels it does not put any additional stress on the joints. But the matter become more complicated when elevated blood pressure is indicated. Hypertension actually is putting undue stress on most parts of the body.
In another study that examined more than 114,000 women found that elevated blood pressure caused to increased joint pain.
The assistant professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School, Daniel Solomon says that “There is no reason to believe that this relationship would not be seen in men as well”.
There is another factor that plays major role in appearance of joint pain in those who suffer from hypertension.
It is often the case that patients suffering from joint pain also suffer from very limited, very restricted movements that causes to the reduced physical activity as well.
When the human body suffer from limited physical activitity it is only natural that in those patients elevated cholesterol levels, overweight problems and heart disease are observed also.
It seems that these factors work together to create a condition that cause to additional deterioration in the health condition and additional health problems accure.
According to the another study done in Canada, was found that people with rheumatoid arthritis have lower life expectancy.
They died an average of 17 years sooner than the average Canadian population.
