For what it’s worth, would someone please link me to posts where members have claimed Obama is going to remedy all of the countries problems?

This is a recurring theme and a focal point of Republican hate. I’d just like to see these insolent posts so I can look at this conversation from the other point of view.

I’ve read posts by members who are hopeful for a successful Obama term, but not necessarily the delusional posts so often referenced.

Yea because public speaking, is a direct reflection of intelligence.

Certainly some people have intense anxiety and aren’t capable of speaking in front of groups of people, but I think the jabs at his intelligence were founded in what he actually said, not how poorly he presented it.

Actually, that would make his father an “African American”. :P.

I would really like to see an end to all the political correctness of such words as African American, Chinese American, Hispanic American, etc. I do not think there should be a name preceding “American” when one speaks of their citizenship to the USA. Don’t get me wrong, I am all for celebrating your heritage and being proud of who you are, but I see this as further segregating the masses as far as nationality goes. What is wrong with just being called an American? I am an American of Austrian decent. I do not consider myself an Austrian American, as I have never even been to Austria, nor have I ever had citizenship there. just my .02 on that subject.

So the county doesn’t see any tax revenue from people eating at restaurants, staying at hotels, buying gas, paying toll. Plus it puts Buffalo on the map 8 times a year locally.

Oh I see you point. Everyone pays for something and only a select few profit from it. The business owners, and the state seem to be the big winners. I can’t imagine county tax returns would generate $800,000+ per game so in the end it costs every single tax payer.

Lets say the avg seat is $50. They sellout the 71000 seats. The county gets $168,625 back in taxes. I can’t imagine the business sales from each game make up the remaining $650,000 gap to allow the county to break even.

Yes, it puts Buffalo on the map in a negative light for the most part.

Edit: I work for the Bills. When I work and it’s not a game day Ralph pays my salary. When it’s a game day every person on this site that pays taxes in Eire County pays my salary because it’s funded by the county.

Of course any person can stumble with words or get overly nervious but that man can’t seem to think of even a somewhat intellegent thought with any of his responses unless they were prewritten which were still a murdering of the english language. Listening to any of his responses during questioning, it was almost clear that he was borderline retarded.
