sooo, pretty much to sum it up, stop breaking the law? its getting warmer out and nicer for cops to be out of there cars without bitching they are getting wet from rain or snow. usually this is what happens in the spring time. IMO
yesterday, the V1 was going crazy. I did see 3 within a few mile strech of the 290. 2 had pull overs and one shooting Ka.
I bet he just flashed a relative or friend of the family police card who works for the NYS troopers. Troopers don’t let people off unless that person knows someone in the force or if its a “real” emergency.

I love Texas speed limits of 70mph with cops that don’t care if you do 85. Hell if you white you can do 100. lol
My brother in law is a state trooper. Just do the speed limit and no worries. You save gas, you’re not going to be pulled over, so it saves time. He loves this time of year, lots of speeders after the snow melts.

Haha…I was driving my buddy’s evo from San Antonio back to Houston at like 2 am and randomly decided I wanted to hit boost for a second. Of course, there just happened to be a cop going in the opposite direction. Long story short, pulled over but no ticket. Surprised the hell out of me to be honest - I thought for sure he’d throw the book at a yank.

Yah to be honest they are more worried about illegals and actual crime, aka drugs, gang brothers, etc.
They ask a few questions, realize your a educated person contributing to society and aren’t doing any real harm and let you go on your way. So far I’d say cops out here are at least 13 times cooler then in WNY.
Sucks that NYS taxes the shit out of the people then they up the anti on police patrols lol.

i got pulled over by a buffalo cop the other day on the way to work, i was running late and he got me doing 65 through a stop sign on my phone, he let me go with just a warning thankfully…
he actually seemed kinda pissed that i didn’t lead him on a chase at 7am

i crawl on the 290… see radar traps basically everytime in on it and 55mph? gimme a break… it’s painful driving that stretch…
3.5 years of taking that ramp daily and I have never seen one cop sitting there. I usually tear ass between the 400 and 290 then go nice and slow on the 290 and 190

Honestly,
You have better luck not getting a ticket getting pulled over doing 120 in a 55 than you do getting pulled over for 78 in a 65.
The way I see it, the more WRONG you are doing the better chance you have to be let go.
If you are street racing, doing 100mph+ and get pulled over, the cop will more than likely scream at you for 10 minutes then let you go…
If you get pulled over for the quota meeting week (end of month) for a 78 in a 65 you will prob get a ticket.
