1.5g per lb. , he seems to be right on IMO, from what I have read.
i weigh 185 and ive had people actually guess that i weigh 150…

Just starting getting back into working out earlier this month. Joined a gym for 30 days to try out. I have a bench at home but thats it. Put up 205 5x. I weigh 155-160 though so thats not bad. I told my buddy i wanted to run a bit( big built kid) and he was dying after 3/4 a mile at like a 10 minute mile.lol
I just put up 205x2 , kinda happy about that, kinda pissed that the dog kept barking last night and waking me up… ugh sleep so important
just put squats/legs and deadlifts back in my routine after a few months off b/c of back/hip problems… my legs are crying… hip/back feels great though, hopefully make some good gains soon b/c of it.
Started a month ago and have lost 16lbs since.
well, i started throwing up and losing all sorts of bodily fluids starting at about 7am this morning. looks like its the flu diet for me. lol i should come out of this about 5lbs lighter. Was going to go to the gym for my 1x a week workout today. guess i cant now. ughhh, gotta go throw up now.
I thought this thread was above moving weight not losing it.
At least that is why I started the other one.
I’m going to join worlds gyms tonight and get in on a few of there classes. I need to get back in shape, with the new Rx I actually want to eat 3 times a day now I would rather get in shape rather than get fat i already feel a gut coming on
Last night felt good. Deadlift 225 5 sets of 5 reps, rowed 2k meters, ran 4.0 miles. Only drank one beer when I got home. I feel like a million bucks today!

If you’ve got an appetite now does that mean you’re feeling better? :tup:? That’d be awesome if you could get your meds straight AND get into a gym. You’d probably start feeling really good.

I am starting my workout again today, after a two year break. I am 5’8 and 164 right now. I have maybe 5-10 lbs. of bad weight to get rid of, so this should be a great thing. Posting this here as record of my start/progress.
The deal was “girlfriend moves in, I go back to the gym.” Well, she moved in :tup: so I guess I’ll have to get off my butt and go get back to work.

lol my weekly motivation was registering for a 5k and realizing that I was only 3 pounds away from being able to register for the “over 200 pound” category rather than just open registration. :lolno:
well i went to the gym 2 days in a row, probably not the best idea. I’m not so much sore as i am in pain. I can hardly brush my teeth. lol
I’m pretty clueless on what to do.
I got super hammered this weekend, I don’t remember who drove me home or walking in my house lol… I barely eat anything last night I felt so sick… Didn’t sleep much either so maybe tomorrow I’ll go to the gym.
