I don’t follow a diet routine. Call me lazy, but I simply enjoy food too much:
Typically I do
Breakfast - Bagel with butter and cream cheese (Fuck you it’s delicious). I have switched to bagels with jelly though
Lunch - 2 PB&J sandwiches and usually a baggie of grapes or some sort of fruit
Dinner - Whatever, but usually we keep it on the healthier side. Like Tacos with lean beef or lean turkey.
I drink a cup or two of black coffee in the morning and then water throughout the day including at the gym. I usually go through 32oz of water during a workout.
Could I get better results with a better diet…You bet. I try and make “healthier” decisions for meals though. I don’t do any supplements as of now, but may look into pre-workout mixes and maybe some better protein for after. I don’t really care for milk so I am not a fan of making the chocolate/milk shakes after. I was around 200 (6’) for summer and am at 188 now.
while at work i eat one or two of these items every hour during my 8 hr shift
also including my breakfast serving of a large blender bottle of iced black coffee and usually 6 bottles of water throughout the shift
1 orange
1 apple
1/2 sliced cucumber with 1 serving of low fat extra sharp cheese
4 hardboiled egg whites
1 package of tuna
1 peach
sandwich bag full of carrots
protein oats: 1/2 cup of oats, 1 scoop vanilla protein powder, 1 tbsp of adams natural crunch pb, 1 banana
when i get home ill make a chicken breast on the foreman and cut it up into slices with franks, salsa and lettuce for a pre gym taco
post workout ill have 1 scoop of vanilla protein with silk unsweetened almond milk and another serving of the “protein oats” i mentioned before.
Prog, I saw that asshat on the seated bench press machine the other day… He was just using his feet on the assist looking like he was going to pass the fuck out.
He usually bounces around from 5-6 machines in a 5 minute span.
You guys know incomplete proteins don’t count towards your daily total. Unless you take incomplete proteins and pair them together properly to make a complete protein like brown rice and black beans ? Only animal meats and diary products are complete.
Anyways my breakfast everyday is 3 eggs(only eat two yokes). 2-3 of bacon, oatmeal and a glass of milk(1.5servings 1.5cups) Each egg = 8g protein, cup of milk is 8g plus like 14g carbs, then what ever serving of oatmeal adds up to about 50g carbs.
Lunch I have yogurt 14g protein around the same carbs, big lunch meat sandwich.
Then a 2-3 meals of meat veggies and carbs along with my glass of whole milk to total around 40g protein and 50grams of carbs.
lol i went to terries for 4 years while i lived off hertel.
i know exactly who you guys are talking about.
if you go in there at night tell the main guy custodian (i cant remember his name) the border guy who moved to LA says hello.
now i go to shitty 24hr fitness…sucks fucking ballsssss. always crowded not enough equipment. sucks i bought a 2 year membership before i checked it out. the only redeeming factor is they are everywhere out here.
My gf loves Dana Lin bailey, she follows her on Instagram, my gf trains with me and is surprised how much work you put in to what you get out muscle wise. I have her do every exercise I do, she benches with perfect form, makes the teens look like they don’t know what they’re doing lol
If I fixed my diet I’d probably see more gains. I actually started a better diet this week, but then got a nasty cold and haven’t lifted since Monday. I have a hard time getting 5 meals in during the day due to my job, and partly me being lazy. I should really prep my meals for the week on a Sunday.
I’m 165lbs, up from 140lbs this time last year. I need to put more effort in, I haven’t seen any significant gains as of late. It does really help having a parter (quatts) to motivate you though. I’ve been a member of the BAC several times and stopped going after a couple months due to laziness and lack of motivation.
I go to BAC on delaware, usually evenings after job 1 before job 2. Have a few buddies that belong there but I usually go alone, as going with friends just takes too much time. I only have an hour and 15 minutes of actual gym time usually. So much more fun with friends though.
